Nespi Meeting held Friday February 26th, 2010

Meeting Time:  6:10-8:45 pm

Meeting Agenda:  Talked about new structure for how we will be handling our dues. Mike Astin ran the meeting and touched on many topics. Investigations, Outings, Locations and photo shoot. Past Investigations and Current Investigation. Also talked about how the team would be "picking up" and getting busy come this spring. We have alot in store for fund raisers and Events to help us raise money for new and additonal equipment due to our increased size.

6:10-7:00 : Touched on our past investigation to a residential home in the cape cod area. What are finding were so far and that a second team will be going to the location soon. Also talked about trying to find new locations for the EVP Reseachers to keep them fully trained on how to use the equipment-the computer program-and their mics.

7:00-8:00: We touched on where we are as a team and where we would like to be headed and that we know that during the spring/summer/fall Nespi will be back and fully active with training classes-Lectures and outings for our newest reseachers. And we would like to welcome out newest member Jeff Comoletti (So welcome Jeff!). We talked about Events that we might like to get involved helping out in our community!

8:00-8:45: We showed some of the newest members of the team some our our footage captured at a Cape Cod location and played some of our newest and best evps for them as well. We talked about how each member will be more involved from helping find and secure new locations for the team. Trying to schedule locations for outings and photo shoot currently.

Meeting Time: 6:20-8:20pm

Meeting Agenda: Talk about upcoming events that Nespi is planning for the fall of 2010 and Spring of 2011. Dues-Fund raisers-classes.

6:20-7:00 Working on wrapping up some investigations and scheduling more. Bill Martin has many locations that he has asked and is awaiting permission from board of trustees to gain access to these establishments.

7:00-7:30  How Dues will be collected for the 2010 calender year. We have decided that they will be collected "Quarterly" to make it easy on  the members and the staff. Also talk about how important keeping up with your dues are and what NESPI uses the due money for.

7:30-8:20 Gathered information from team members that were on the last investigation and talked about that investigation. Also getting team "T-Shirts" the only downfall is you have to be current with your dues in order to obtain a shirt. Also if you have too many unexcused absences and are not paying dues we will have no choice but to removed that individual as a team member. We also discussed our coming investigation and where we might take the EVP Reseachers outing with Mr. Martin and also coming investigations. Talked about the "ranks" of NESPI and how you begin as a reseacher no matter what your prior knowledge is and move up the ranks to Lead Investigator. This is what makes it fair to all our members to get the same shot at advancement within the group.

Meeting Agenda: New Members-Salem Biz Baz-Investigation reveal-New Locations-Raffle License-Misc.

6-6:25- Our team talked about our current line up of members and what the plans are for the team and training and membership. What we are looking for in new members and the status of our website and our domains and what we would like to see on the site in the future!

6:26-6:32- Introduce our newest members Barry S., Yvonne A. and Patrick Browne. Welcome to you all!

6:32-6:45-Talked about a New Location that we have in Duxbury as an investigation. With the help and assitance of Patrick Brown we got approval to investigate.

6:45-7:30-Salem Biz Baz- What our current financial situation is. Where we stand on items for sale. What "new" items could we bring. Asking all members of the team to brainstorm and create or think of new "table" items. Being Non-profit we have to keep a eye on our budget but we want some quality good to offer the public! We looked into the purchase of new t-shirt the cost and the new designs and how we really need "selection" in the shirts we offer! We talked about our DVD's that are currently being made to sell! And also possiable about appling for a "raffle" licese for Salem as well.

7:30-7:45- Billy Martin along with the team talked about locations that he would like to take the researchers and possiably some investigators to do some EVP work. Locations talked about were local cemetary and some possiable forts. Nothing has been pre-set yet. But we talked about the importance of "Never going out alone" and that EVP outings are really much better if you go as a "Team"! Currently working on one location for the reseachers.

7:45-8:00- Wrap up..we went over our Schedule for Salem Biz Baz and asked for Everyone to make sure they are on the schedule! The schedule will be given out at the next team meeting set for September 25, 2009 at 6pm.

Meeting Agenda:

Meeting opened with a updating of the status of the group. Mike Astin discussed how "changes" will be coming to NESPI! He touched base of the current line up of members and what the roles will be in the future and at present. He talked about the importance of "dedication" and "attendance" for all NESPI members. We also touch base on some of the future events and current status as a group. More details on that topic to follow at next meeting.

Mike Astin and Mike Medeiros then began to talk about our EVP reseachers program and the status of that group for the future. They also wanted to stress the importance to the researchers on how to record and also gave them instructions on how to download the software for their recorders. They did a demo on Cool Edit an instructed Brian, Audrey and Bob on how to use and experiment with it so that they are comfortable using the program. We served pizza and the meeting ended.
